GodMag is a Christian, reader-funded magazine – online and in print. It was created with the support of Priesterausbildungshilfe e.V. Our aim: to inform, inspire, and connect people in faith.
More Than a News Portal
GodMag reports on what moves Christians: from the Church and the worldwide Church, from society, culture, and the life of parishes. Carefully researched, clearly written, and focused on what matters.
But news alone is not enough for us. GodMag wants to foster spirituality and help faith find space in everyday life – through reflections, portraits, and stories of people who live their faith.

Reading GodMag strengthens the faith – and helps very concretely: seminarians, students and priests in continuing formation, many from countries where money is scarce, can write for GodMag and receive a fee for it.
A scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, and the essentials. It is not enough for much else. This is exactly where GodMag comes in – with the small things that make student life more human.

GodMag does not live off corporations or large advertising budgets, but off its readers. Every contribution helps us report freely, keep Christian content accessible to all – and enable seminarians and priests in continuing formation to earn an income as writers.
In-house development
Built from scratch – with donated time
GodMag is our own in-house development. Our programmers built the entire platform from the ground up – without using website builders like WordPress. This allowed us to design the magazine, event calendar, and job board exactly as our readers and partners need them.
A large part of the developers' working time was donated. We are deeply grateful for this: GodMag is also a sign of what can emerge when people put their talents at the service of a good cause.
Our Roots
Created with Priesterausbildungshilfe e.V.
GodMag was created with the support of Priesterausbildungshilfe e.V. The association has for many years supported the training of priests and seminarians – above all through scholarships at the Pontifical University of Santa Croce in Rome.
From this sense of connection comes our mission: to bring the faith to people using the means of today – faithful in content, contemporary in form.
