Cookie Policy

Here you can find out which cookies and similar technologies we use on godmag.org, what they are for, how long they are stored, and how you can change your selection at any time.

Your selection

Necessary entries are always active. Statistics and advertising only load if you have given your consent. You can change or withdraw your selection here or at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores when you visit a website. The local storage and session storage of your browser work similarly: a website can also store information there. We list both in the tables below.

Some entries are technically necessary for the website to function or to provide a feature you have expressly requested – such as logging in. For all others, we need your consent.

2. Necessary (always active)

We set these entries ourselves. They contain no advertising or analytics identifiers and are not shared with third parties. Many of them are only created when you use the respective function. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or § 25(2) TDDDG.

3. Own Statistics (without Cookies)

Our own reach measurement does not set cookies and does not store any identifier in your browser (details in the Privacy Policy, Section 4). Only for the duration of your visit does your browser remember where you came from:

4. Statistics (only with your consent)

If you allow “Statistics,” we load Google Analytics from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google sets cookies on our domain; how long they last is determined by Google (Google's information on cookies). If a Google Tag Manager is set up, it only loads after your consent to Statistics or Advertising and only releases the integrated services as you have selected (Google Consent Mode).

6. Embedded Videos

YouTube videos in articles only load when you click on the video – no connection to YouTube is made beforehand, not even for the thumbnail. After clicking, the video loads in YouTube's enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com, Google Ireland Limited); YouTube may use its own cookies or similar technologies in doing so.

7. Change or Withdraw Your Selection

Your consent is voluntary. You can change or revoke it at any time with effect for the future – via the “Open cookie settings” button at the top of this page or via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete Google's cookies on our domain and reload the page; the services will then no longer be loaded.

You can also delete or block cookies and website data at any time in your browser settings. If you block necessary entries, certain functions – such as logging in – will no longer work.

8. Further Information

You can read how we process personal data and what rights you have in our privacy policy. We are happy to answer questions via our contact form or by email at info@godmag.de.
